This year marks the 50th anniversary of Aloeric Primary School.
The school have planned activities throughout the year for the children to mark the occasion. Premises work is also taking place to give Aloeric's site a bit of a facelift.
72 pupils worked on an art installation created alongside art company No Added Sugar to brighten the school hall, a new mosaic welcome sign has been created by the children with artist Emma Leith.
New playground markings have been laid to give the site a splash of colour and over Easter, Pickwick Academy Trust funded a new set of electronic gates to be installed.
