Teaching time to KS1 and KS2: a new fail-safe step by step technique
During term 5 Exeter class were exploring the concept of time during their maths lesson. Telling the time is always a difficult concept to master but the children were really resilient and used a range of manipulatives to support their understanding and got there in the end. Mrs Boddington tweeted some of the strategies that the children were using in class and the tweet was picked up by Third Space Learning, who were so impressed by the learning happening that they used the tweet as the inspiration for their blog on time, which was shared nationally. Well done to Mrs Boddington and all of Exeter class!
