St George's Shining Stars Pre-School

From 1st January 2026, Bourton Preschool and Zeals Preschool became part of St George's School. As part of the conversion the new pre school provision will be known as St George’s Shining Stars Pre-School.

Shining Stars brings together the strengths and expertise of the existing Pre School as part of the wider school community, providing a high-quality Early Years experience for children aged 2–4. Being part of the school supports strong continuity, nurturing care and a smooth transition into Reception.

Rooted in our Christian ethos, “Let your light shine” (Matthew 5:16), St George’s Shining Stars Pre-School offers a safe, caring and inspiring environment where children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence through purposeful play. A place "Where little lights begin to shine!"

We are thrilled that all the hard work by the Pre School Committee, the Pre School staff, the school staff and the Trust has paid off and the conversion went ahead as planned.
