Safeguarding
Safeguarding is the proactive approach to keeping children and young people safe, and child protection is the reactive process when concerns arise about a child/children.
At Pickwick Academy Trust, safeguarding children is our number 1 priority, which we all take very seriously. We actively listen to our children and take seriously what they tell us. We ensure that our staff are aware of, and have the skills to deal with, any child protection or safeguarding issues that arise. All staff, leaders and governors undertake annual safeguarding training.
Please see our policy page for details of our Trust Overarching Statement for Safeguarding and our Trust Online Safety Policy. Please visit school websites for details of each school's Safeguarding Policy and procedures.
Details about who is responsible for safeguarding in each of our schools can be found on the individual school websites - see tab on the main bar of this website above.
If you are concerned about the wellbeing or safety of a particular child, please contact the school directly to discuss your concerns.
